Drought has no boundaries, indicating the impact of water scarcity directly impacts the construction and infrastructure development.
Unlike typical Portland cement based concrete, geopolymers do not incorporate water into its structure. Instead, the water used to make geopolymers only helps in the mixing process, and later evaporates while curing happens. The escaping water can then be recaptured and reused, all while minimizing water waste.
One of the biggest isssues facing concrete manufacturers today are the high carbon emissions they produce. Worldwide, concrete production accounts for 8% of the total carbon emitted into the atmosphere. The geopolymers that we produce emite no carbon, and will be a key towards solving our carbon crisis.
Unlike standard concrete which typically reqiures 28 of curing before it is servicible, geopolymers can be ready for use just a few days, and can result in huge saving for construction costs.
Our team continues to work at improving our designs, leading to better materials and greater environmental impact.
